St. Luke's, Union

St. Luke's Union was formed as a chapel of St. Luke's, Roselle. The first service was held in 1873 in a one-room schoolhouse built on the existing property in the 1830's. Over the years several adjacent properties were purchased and the Rectory was built. In 1951 the old Church building was demolished and the present church was built. St. Luke's is believed to be the second oldest congregation in Union. The picture is from a painting of the old church that hangs in the Narthex of the new church as a reminder of our heritage.

All Saints', Elizabeth

All Saints' Elizabeth was built in 1929 as a parish hall, it served as the church throughout its history.  The building was sold when the parishes merged. Many of St. Luke's stained glass windows come from All Saints.

St. Luke and All Saints

St. Luke and All Saints' was formed in 1977 by the merger of the two parishes. The money from the sale of All Saints' allowed the building of the parish hall on the St. Luke property. This provided a beautiful facility, well suited to serve our community. The current Congregation is proud of its' rich double history and seeks to use its' strength in our current ministry.
